Riley Food Drive

Once again, Community Consolidated School District 21 has organized a food drive in order to help support families in need within our community.

Riley School is collecting food from February 4- 18th.
In addition to collecting items like canned soups, meats, fruits and vegetables, hot and cold cereals, pasta, and peanut butter, the Wheeling Food Pantry also accepts cash donations. Checks can be made payable to the Wheeling Food Pantry or Rotary Club of Wheeling Grant Fund. Through a partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the Wheeling Food Pantry can purchase items in bulk at a dramatically reduced price.

Be on the lookout for a flier with more details.
The deadline to donate is  February 18, 2016.

One component of measuring school improvement in the State of Illinois is a comprehensive survey of staff members, parents, and students (middle school and high school only). This survey, the 5Essentials Survey, is produced by the University of Chicago and is used throughout Illinois as part of the Illinois State Board of Education’s school improvement planning and data collection requirements.
